On the occasion of FAO’s designation of Valencia as the World Capital of Sustainable Food, this year Valencia’s Parade of Kings (or Three Wise Men) focused on the theme of healthy eating. In this context, the company Idai Nature participated in the city’s official Parade to educate children about the importance of consuming fruits and vegetables.
This action aims to raise awareness about the dangers of neglecting the food boys and girls eat, which can result in heart, bone and growth problems. According to the latest WHO studies, one in three children is overweight, which can lead to childhood obesity, a problem directly related to diseases such as asthma and diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions.
Childhood obesity drops and can be prevented with a correct diet, of which fruit is an ideal part.
For the Idai Nature family it was an honour to participate in an event of this nature.
