Food-borne diseases pose a serious risk to the health of the population, today millions of people sick and even die from eating unhealthy foods. Member states of the World Health Organization have long worried about it, so in 2000 they adopted a resolution which recognized the fundamental role of food safety for public health.The food safety encompasses actions to ensure maximum food safety. Policies and activities pursued this purpose shall cover the entire food chain from production to consumption.
