The Minister of Employment upholds Idai Nature as a model of gender equality, with more than 50% of its executives being women

Employment and Social Security Minister Fátima Báñez praised Idai Nature, the manufacturer of natural, chemical-free solutions for the cultivation of foods, as a model in the application and development of gender equality measures and equal opportunities in its work conditions and organisation.

At the National Convention of SMEs and Self-employed Workers held in Elche, Báñez pointed out that, with more than 50% of its managers being women, this Valencian company “is an example in the implementation of equality policies at the national and international level.” Despite not being compelled to do so, Idai Nature has among its priorities the creation of an Equality plan encompassing all the relevant work-life balance measures and prevention protocols, thereby guaranteeing the fulfilment of Idai Nature’s values.

The convention was presided over by the President of the Government, Mr Mariano Rajoy, who also acknowledged Idai Nature during his remarks, as a company that has set an example to be followed in the creation of stable, high-quality jobs since its inception.

Attending on behalf of Idai Nature were Founder Carlos Ledó and CEO Pablo Ledó.
