Idai Nature, a Valencian company specialized in agricultural biocontrol, has been awarded by the plastic containers recycling management company SIGFITO a document certifying the reduction of 33,760 kg of CO₂, highlighting the company’s commitment to sustainability and the environment, thus reinforcing all the actions it has carried out to minimize its carbon footprint.
SIGFITO Agroenvases S.L. is a non-profit company created with the aim of organizing a collection system for agricultural containers to give them a proper environmental treatment. Since 2014, Idai Nature is a collection point of used containers from all those farmers who agree with the company’s values and share its concern for the environment, providing them with access to recycling.
This and many other actions have made Idai Nature a benchmark in sustainability for all farmers who are aware of their active role in the defense of the environment. So much so that, due to the actions implemented in the company throughout its history, Idai Nature has been named by the European Commission as the most sustainable company in Europe for the 2020-21 financial year.
