Idai Nature will carry out the research and development of new extracts derived from by-products, which are a valuable resource that is currently unused and is a source of pollution.
This investigation will be carried out over the next two years via a project that the CDTI has awarded to Idai Nature. The results will be used to treat ZERO residue crops, thus contributing to improving the environment.
The objective of the project lies in the use and utilization of by-products from solanaceous crops and their application to obtain a marketable product for use as a biostimulant. It is a new formulation based on a combination of various plant extracts with possible synergistic activity.
With this project, Idai Nature manages to reconcile the terms of the circular economy, improved plant health and crop quality improvement.
