A Pro-Sustainability Thesis at the UPV’s Executive MBA Wins the Idai Nature Award

Idai Nature, a specialist in organic agriculture and residue-free farming, recognised a thesis for its promotion of sustainability: Organic Waste Recovery Company.

Idai Nature CEO Carlos Ledó wished to honour the thesis, upholding the value of sustainability, authored by students in the Universitat Politècnica de València’s Executive MBA programme. For the second straight year Ledó, the man heading up this company specialised in ecological agriculture and residue-free crops, donated the fees he received for the master classes he taught to the authors of the award-winning paper.

During the presentation of the Executive MBA, Cristina Herrero and Vicente Boronat received this award for their thesis Organic Waste Recovery Company.

In the previous edition of this MBA, Idai Nature also issued an award for the most innovative dissertation, in this way promoting two of the values that underpin the company’s activity: innovation and respect for the environment.

Founded in 2010, Idai Nature produces innovative RESIDUE-FREE products that allow its customers to increase their profit margins while producing food devoid of harmful chemical residues. Over the course of these 7 years its growth has been exponential, going from zero to 2016 sales of more than 9 million euros. The total of group of companies invoiced 17 million euros on the year. It is present in more than 30 countries, and has established production subsidiaries in Mexico, Algeria, Turkey and the United States
