The company Idai Nature and the Universitat Politècnica de València announced another edition of the Idai Nature-UPV Bioinsecticides Chair Awards, a major recognition for the students honoured, and an important incentive for the rest.
These awards are aimed at students who have completed UPV degree programmes in Agrifood Engineering and the Rural Environment, or the university’s Master’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering, during the 2015-2016 academic year.
Idai Nature is committed to the on-going search for excellence in the training of professionals and research in the Agriculture sector. Hence, among other objectives, the Idai Nature-UPV Bioinsecticides Chair seeks to improve students’ academic performance.
Idai Nature-UPV Bioinsecticides Chair
The Idai Nature-UPV Bioinsecticides Chair at the Polytechnic University of Valencia’s Advanced Agricultural Engineering School was founded in 2016 to carry out and promote research into botanical extracts having bio-insecticidal applications for pest prevention.
In addition to the execution of research activities, and prizes for the best scholastic records, of note are projects such as pre-doctoral and postdoctoral fellowships and awards for final academic projects.
Idai Nature has made a commitment to assisting farmers to implement the environmentally friendly products it produces.
