Via the Caminantes Association made up of young people who have overcome cancer in childhood or adolescence.
Idai Nature has decided to include within its well-known CSR project #IdaiContigo a new helpline with the objective of raising awareness of the existence of childhood cancer and improving the conditions of children who are now battling it.
This project will be carried out via Caminantes, a non-profit association formed by a group of young people from the Valencian Community who have overcome cancer in childhood or adolescence.
Idai Nature will financially help these brave people, so that they can inspire hope through their experiences and so that they will inspire the little ones who are now going through the same thing.
“Each one unites together with our beautiful story, so that many people’s suffering is not fruitless but serves as encouragement” explains Ángela Varela, who was diagnosed with EWING’s sarcoma with lung metastases when she was two years old.
It can be said that childhood cancer is sadder and more unfair. Therefore, “Together, we will give a voice to all those affected and who suffer this obstacle course every day trying to fight for their needs and demands,” says Carlos Ledó, Idai Nature’s CEO.
Idai Nature is not only helping them financially, but is also working on a new section on their website to raise funds for the association via the sale of T-shirts and sweatshirts with fun illustrations of fruits and vegetables.
