Today the President of the Spanish Confederation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (CEPYME), Antonio Garamendi, accompanied by the President of the Valencian Business Confederation (CEV), Salvador Navarro, visited the central facilities of Idai Nature, 2016’s SME of the Year.
Garamendi was at the Valencian company to check out first-hand the commendable work they do to show the entire world the importance of consuming fruits and vegetables free of chemical residues.
Idai Nature, recognised in November as the Best SME of 2016 by CEPYME, manufactures fertilisers, biopesticides and biofungicides based on mixtures of natural raw materials. Their solutions have become widely renowned in the sector, as they allow farmers to produce foods free of chemical residues, and without cost increases.
The visit was also attended by the President of the PPCV, Isabel Bonig, who was at the meeting between the President of the CEPYME, the President of the CEV, and the company’s management. The gathering addressed key aspects of the Spanish business sector, and established synergies that will favour future collaborations.
The invitees toured the facilities and visited the laboratory the company has recently unveiled. The R&D team, made up of chemists and agricultural engineers, explained to the visitors how applying the latest technology to ancestral agricultural methods makes it possible to cure plants using plants.
